June Bug is a very sweet Australian Cattle dog mix (best guess), approximately 40 pounds, born 10/17/2019.
She is completely house-trained and crate trained, though she doesn’t really need a crate. She can be
left in the house alone during the day and will happily sleep on a dog bed at night, though if you want
her to sleep on your bed, she loves to snuggle! She knows basic commands: sit, stay, down, paw
and come. One of her favorite activities at her foster home is to sit in a chair by the window and
watch the world go by.
With a front clip harness, she is great on a leash. While she is fearful of other dogs, she is fine
passing by dogs on a walk and will sit on command without treats. Because of her reactivity to dogs,
she should be the only dog in the house. No cats either for this girl. She loves to cuddle and can’t
get enough. She is good with everyone, though very small children might be overwhelmed by her
exuberance.
Really, her name should be Love Bug because that’s all she wants: to be loved and to love in return.
She is a wonderful companion and is ready for her new home.
