Sandi was an extremely fearful puppy mill pup when she came to our rescue ~ afraid of EVERYTHING!
From people, to sounds, to movement – you name it; anything & everything. It was baby steps & milestones that don’t seem like much to some but were huge progress for Sandi over the two months she lived in foster care. Her foster mother’s dream was to find her the perfect home where she could be all things a dog deserves to be and she waited ~ her foster mother said she wasn’t going anywhere until she was ready and the right family came along.
Then dreams came true when she landed here with a family full of love and patience, two dog companions and two wonderful children who were all willing to be patient with her and give her a chance to trust, to love and be loved. Her foster mother was overjoyed for for her and her new family!

Sandi's Story
I’m an 8 month old Aussie Terrier puppy who came from a mill and I have lots to learn, but both of my big brothers and sisters have helped me learn how to be a dog and that humans can be kind. I’m pretty shy at first but want to be your friend. I love my new yard and lots of new neighbors. It’s a little scary at times but I’m getting used to my new hood.
